"It's all Greek to me" . . . Never again.

Jonathan finally came home. He's the same, but perhaps a bit smarter since he learned Greek while he was gone. He feels really bad because now he can't use that idiom "It's all Greek to me". I try to console him with his favorite American snacks like Cheese Its and Chicken in a Biscuit crackers and he's slowly getting over the loss. He brought home a suitcase full of delights from Greece and Turkey since he stopped there for a few days on his way back. I've had to chain myself up in the house because there are boxes of Baklava and turkish delight all over the place. What's a girl to do? I already ate all the dried pineapple and figs he brought me. The kids enjoyed the thoughtful gifts he brought for each of them. Helen got a terracotta plate with her namesake and Paris on a chariot fleeing from Sparta. Hector got a small model of the White Tower which stands in Thessaloniki, Greece. He slept with it and has it all the time. Here are some pictures of the weekend we've spent with Daddy.

The only time Cinci ever smiled for me in a picture. He really loves the ocean even though he says he doesn't.

Hector & Helen                              I think Atticus needs a puppy.
Finally, a family picture with everyone in it.
