Spring Break 2010

Last week was Spring break for my kids so Jonathan sent Atticus, Sherman, and me off to Dubai for three days. Yeah, I know. We already went there 6 weeks ago. If you haven't heard much about Dubai, I'll tell you all you need to know about it. It's the Vegas/Disneyland of the Middle East! Fortunately, it's only a 45 minute plane flight from Doha, which is the Elko of the Middle East.
I just finished the whole post but then something went wrong with the computer and it didn't save. So much for thoughtful posts. In a nutshell, we had a lot of fun in Dubai. I didn't miss my plane flight home and I was able to stock up on a lot of Thomas the Tank Engine pasta to motivate Cinci to use the potty.

Bummer that your post got lost. That stinks.

How is potty training going, by the way? I'm in the middle of it too, and I'm so fed up with it. I should have come to you for advice, since you're probably a pro by now...

What are your potty training methods? Please help! (Now you have a new blog topic!)

Hey! Sorry I've not been on the computer much the last couple months- so when I check your blog I usually do it quickly, then don't comment. I'm glad you are pretty good about keeping us updated, we are always thinking about you, wondering about your life in the Elko of the middle east. That is hilarious, by the way!
Cameron is still trying to nail down a date for the get together/reunion, and thought the week leading up to June 5th would be good. He didn't know the kids have school that week, and I'm not sure you will be in Utah a full week before the 5th anyway, so I'm hoping he can change his vacation and leave! Anyway, glad you had a fun spring break. We went to St George for ours, and it was mostly really good. A nice change to have warm weather, anyway.
That stinks you lost your long post, that makes me so angered when it happens to me! Anyway, take care, and talk to you soon!

What a fun spring break. Potty training? Ugh! Hope youre having a lot more success in that department than we are. And just for the record, i think Elko is a perfectly lovely place - i've even fancied living there before ;) (just realized that was a total English way of saying that).
