Two suitcases per person at 50 lbs each. . . that gives us the option of taking 8 suitcases and a total of 400 lbs. Wow! That would be great if Jonathan were a professional weight lifter.

We'll have to wake up at 4 AM, dress the groggy kids, make sure we have everything, and drive up to San Francisco, do all the airport stuff and fly to Atlanta. Then we'll play with the kids in the airport and take the overnighter flight to Milan at 5:30. I signed Jonathan up for the Indian vegetarian meal. Hee hee. (He loves his meatsies). They never seem to grant those requests anyway.

We will prance around Milan for a day. Speak a little italian. We'll see if I remember enough italian to order a milk for Shermie and a piece of pizza for Atticus, ask where the bathroom is, and why there isn't any toilet paper in the bathroom that we pay 50 centimes for, we'll see some art and then when we're exhausted we'll find some fountain somewhere and let the kids splash around in their nothings, then we'll go back to the airport and fly to Istanbul and pray that the hotel shuttle is waiting for us there. Then this section of our life adventure will begin. Everyone's life is an adventure of some sort.
Right now I'm going to go figure out how to de-oatmeal Shermie's hair without having to do the whole bath thing over again. That will be my adventure for the day. See ya!!!!!!

It sounds like just getting to Istanbul all in one piece will the biggest adventure of the whole adventure!

I have butterflies in my tummy for you. Can't wait to hear how it all unfolds. Love the little "itinerary essay" today.

Oh boy!!! Here you go! Just remember to smile and breathe and pray. I'm so excited for you! Can't wait to hear how it goes. Your taking notes, right? Because you are going to write a book on traveling with kids that I can buy, right? :D
Much love!
