Dear Diary,

Today I beat everyone waking up AGAIN! I'm sooooo fast. I tried to get Mommy to play with me but she just rolled over in her bed and told me to go back to bed. She has no concept of the time she is wasting in bed. I hate to sleep! But, hey, I love her so I did what she said. I sat in my bed for a while and thought about what airplanes I was going to make today. I think today might be an airplane day. If not, I'll convince her to make me a car instead.

Unfortunately, Mom and Dad had other plans for us today. Instead of staying home all day and making crafts and reading stories, we had to go on this long ride over a bridge to a different continent. Mom says there are seven continents and that we visited two today. We went to this really boring building where Dad walked back and forth and back and forth with Cinci on his back. Shermie and I found a little friend and we ran as fast as we could. I, of course, was the fastest because I'm four and I eat my dinner. Finally, we left the boring building and jumped in the car. By the time we got home, Cinci was sleeping again, and Mom and Dad said I had to take a nap too. If they really knew what it means to be four, they wouldn't be making me sleep all the time.

The funnest part of the day was our trip to McDonalds. All of that was fun except that we had to walk there. It took forever. Mom was talking about turning into a vegetable and tv or something like that. I was really worried about her. She's supposed to be my mommy forever. She can't turn into a vegetable right now. She told me she was just kidding. Dad said she would never turn into a vegetable because she has three boisterous boys to keep her busy. I suppose he means me and Shermy and Cinci. If I had to be a vegetable I would be corn. It's yummy.

Tomorrow I will write a letter to Elsie Ann. I already know what she will write to me about. Airplanes. I can't wait.

Until next time,

Snicklebee

Hi,

I'm Sarah, and I'm a friend of Holly's and also an avid blogger. She clued me in to your blog, and I've had a ball reading it. I'm a missionary kid myself, and I love writing and traveling.

So I asked Holly if she thought you'd mind if I introduced myself and made a new blog-friend. She said she thought you'd be okay with that. :)

So anyway, i love your posts (they're so imaginative and colorful!) and I hope we can be friends. My blog is writerstravail.blogspot.com.

I'd love to hear more about what you guys are doing there...

Sarah
