What is the best play dough recipe you have found that does not require cream of tartar or any other obscure ıngredıent that I can't find here in Turkey?

Here is one for you:
1 1/2 C. Water
1 1/2 C Salt
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 Tsp. alum (or baking powder)
2 C. Flour
food coloring

Boil water, salt and add oil and alum. Gradually add flour until thick. Add food coloring and knead until well blended.

Hope this helps!! Good luck!

Hi guys

I used this recipe last night at midnight and it worked great except I used 2 C water on my 2nd batch and that made the dough more elastic.

Also added the coloring to the water, and this gave a more even color.

We miss you guys
