Snicklebee is fascinated by the spiderweb we discovered today up at Bridlevale Falls. The spider was hiding but there were plenty of critters stuck in the web waiting to be attacked, then sucked and slurped dry by the hungry spider. One was still alive and trying to fly away. Poor thing! I wonder what Atticus was thinking, perhaps that the spider might eat him too. I don't think so because I'm sure he would have expressed his fear as he usually does when we encounter a dog or come near a tunnel.
